With DK[Sigma]3713 set to arrive in early August, we've received more information about the event from the Famitsu website and an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the Kingdom Hearts series.
Facts from Famitsu: - Playable Demo of Birth By Sleep. It is not finished yet, but they want fans to get a taste of the combat. They're upgrading the battle system.
- The suspension of mobile games by Square Enix is not in full effect yet, so The 3rd Birthday, Final Fantasy Agito XIII and KH: Coded are still in production.
- KH: 358/2 Days content is complete, but FF: Dissidia is further in development. They'll be receiving feedback from the players of the demos.
- It will be a private party like past Square Enix events, with a closed theater and playable booths outside, so fans of the public will have to wait for the Tokyo Game Show in October to see and play the games.
Facts from Nomura: - Nomura feels that the Kingdom Hearts series has "succeeded the blood" of the Final Fantasy series in its spirit due to its elements of action, RPG, and more, with one main difference being that KH focuses around a person and the FF series changes with each game.
- Nomura thinks it doesn't matter which console KH is on, as long as each installment can be refreshing.
- When he plans a sequel, he wants to make sure it meets the quality expected from the fans.

Today, popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu announced details on a special Square Enix private party dubbed 'DK[Sigma]3713'. The planned date for this event is August 2nd and 3rd 2008. However, rather than this being a two-day event like Jump Festa or Tokyo Game Show, the party will include a total of six sessions spread out over the two days. The sessions will take place at 1000, 1330 and 1700 hours each day (10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.). An expected 400 people are expected to attend each session.
Later on, Square officially announced their Private Party 2008 lineup, confirming everything Famitsu has said! In the name 'DK[Sigma]3713', each letter/number stands for a session in which a specific game/games will be shown!

It's finally June for us KH Fans, and with a new month comes the end of our drought of news about the 3 new KH games from Square Enix. Recently a trailer for Birth By Sleep appeared on the internet and KH Excursion has rushed to bring it to you, the fans! A British fan, Khronnus, was able to record the previously unseen footage in the Square Enix Showcase in Tokyo and here it is for you guys to enjoy!
